Winter Fest – San Jose Jazz

Winter Fest

2012–Ongoing
Each February we heat up the season with concerts in intimate San Jose venues.

The "cool" counterpart to Summer Fest

In its current form since 2013, Winter Fest presents established stars and fast-rising artists in a series of events in intimate indoor settings. Spanning genres like jazz, blues, R&B, soul, Latin, New Orleans and global music, the Fest has become known as one of the best series in Northern California to discover new artists who are on the way up.

Past artists include Gilles Peterson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Veronica Swift, Ben Allison, Kneedelus, Bria Skonberg, Kris Bowers, Kendrick Scott Oracle, Taylor McFerrin, Thundercat, La Santa Cecilia, Kathy Kosins, Robert Glasper Experiment and Vijay Iyer.

Winter Fest 2020, Presented by AARP was a huge success, with most shows at or near sellout status. We're busy preparing for Winter Fest 2021. We're following developments in the Covid-19 pandemic, and will work to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience, in person or online.
