The jazz ensemble was created in 2005 by police officer Anthony Stewart and has already performed in an impressive number of locations worldwide, including Tokyo, Japan, Quebec city, Canada, and Hong Kong, China. In addition to performing at veterans and children’s hospitals, in their spare time, band members have also performed at several schools throughout the New York City area. They have been very successful in reinforcing to our youth that music can truly enhance your life, and that something which is done “for free” can indeed, be of great value. Members of the band devout hundreds of hours of their personal time to reach kids at risk in some of the city’s toughest neighborhoods. The band is committed to the community and is willing to share its collective talents with others whenever possible.
