The Smith Dobson Youth Festival is an annual competition for Middle and High School musicians. Hundreds of performers from local schools have the opportunity to meet nationally known adjudicators and to obtain music scholarship awards and several other prizes.
“Our goal is to provide a nurturing educational environment that provides students with the opportunity to learn from a team of outstanding jazz educators.”
Eligibility - Combos from middle schools and high schools.
Location - Santa Theresa High School, 6150 Snell Ave., San Jose, CA 95123 (Map)
Format - 1 day. 8 am to 4 pm. 45 minute slots (inlcuding the on-stage clinic)
