Picture Miles Davis, SouLive, and Cream getting into a fight, and you'll imagine the best audio description of the San Francisco based music collective Citizen Rhythm. It is the music of Mingus, Monk, Miles, and more fused with funk, hard rock, hip-hop, and odd-meter grooves. Formed in 2010 by multi-award winning guitarist Terrence Brewer, Citizen Rhythm is another evolution of fusion. The group is comprised of guitarist Terrence Brewer, keyboardist Michael Coleman, Bassist Doug Ebert, and Drummer Rob Rhodes. Individually, each musician has traveled around the world performing with Ledisi, Mary Wilson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Louis Bellson, Buddy Guy, Elvin Bishop, Joyce Cooling, Pete Escovedo, Darlene Love, Melba Moore, Ray Obiedo, Tony Lindsay (Santana), John Nemeth, Calvin Keyes, and many others.
