A native Californian, Worship Pastor Avery Stafford has recorded five albums with R&B, Gospel, and Contemporary Urban flavors since breaking into the music scene. Soul Tracks lists Avery’s upcoming album End Of Five as one of the “most notable upcoming CD releases in the Soul Music world.” The first single “Everyday” was released July 2010 and was featured by Landmark Theatres in their pre-movie segment.
A two-time nominee for Los Angeles International Music Awards, Stafford was also the March 2007 Winner and the December 2007 Runner Up (Christian category) in the Song of the Year International Songwriting Competition. He was the 2008 Pure Gospo Awards “Best Solo Artist,” and received an Honorable Mention in the prestigious Billboard World Song Contest in 2009.
His last independent album, Undignified, was reviewed as being “the most innovative vocal performance since Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On record.” Avery co-produced his latest album End Of Five with saxophonist Eddie M. (Sheila E., Prince, Eric Benet, Stevie Nicks, Karyn White, and many others). averystafford.com
