Not many people can boast that their music has stopped traffic. David Landon and his four-piece band once took their music to the streets of Paris, amazing drivers in the Latin Quarter with his soul-filled, scorching sound. He became a staple in French clubs, spending five years playing throughout Paris and across Europe.
Landon is an accomplished performer, recording artist, and producer, with four CDs authored under his own label, Whip. His album “Chasin’ the Blues” was named Blues Beat Indy CD of the Month, and his guest appearance on Alvin Sykes’s 2006 release Better Than Your Used to Be also won the Bay Area Blues Society Best Blues CD.
