 This week and for the month of February, the Jazz Jam is excited to announce that the Lee Pardini Trio will be our house rhythm section! This dynamic trio features the talents of Lee Pardini on piano, Kevin Higuchi on drums, and Joe Costantini on bass. Come check out Lee, Kevin, and Joe in our house rhythm section February 2nd and February 16th!
For those of you who may not know him, Lee's one of the biggest and in-demand pianists here in the Bay Area and abroad. His musical credentials include studying at the Manhattan School of Music and most recently, touring with New York indie/soul artist Grace Weber. Lee's been a staple in the San Jose music scene for quite some time, and his creative compositions and modern jazz edge is a testament to his love of music.
His own trio is known for their funky and edgy brand; Lee's compositions have been regarded by some as taking the best of genres like pop and rock and R&B, and incorporating them seamlessly into a modern jazz framework that keeps audiences engaged.
