On Sunday November 8, 2009, trombonist Mike Rinta will perform from 8pm-11pm at Anna's Jazz Island in Berkeley, CA, located at 2120 Allston Way.

After backing up scores of jazz and funk stars such as Sly & the Family Stone, Herbie Hancock, and Carlos Santana, Mike Rinta debuts his solo record with a dynamic group of local headliners to join him in celebrating the release of his debut solo record:  “EPONYMOUS"

This performance will feature the following musicians performing Mike Rinta originals and selections from the new CD: Paul Branin (saxophone), Kevin Zuffi (piano), Tim Eschliman (bass), Jimmy Sanchez (drums), and special featured guest Adam Schulman (Hammond organ).
