Live at the Landmark! presents two special dance concerts at San Jose's Landmark Ballroom. On Friday, February 27th, we feature the queen of classic jazz and blues dance bands, Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers and on Saturday, February 28th, check out one of the most joyful and dynamic salsa dance bands, Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca. To add to already extraordinary nights, try your luck in our Tea Room Casino featuring craps, roulette and blackjack tables. For those who like to dance, you will not find a better dance floor (3,000 sqft of "sprung" dance floor). Saturday, February 28th - RICARDO LEMVO & MAKINA LOCA - Their infectious fusion of Latin and African music has been hailed as the future of African Salsa. Lemvo has established himself as a pioneer with his innovative music, combining Latin and African elements from salsa to soukous. Since forming his band, Lemvo has refined his craft and vision, raising his joyous voice with strength, singing songs that celebrate life, and most importantly, inspiring his audiences to let loose and dance away their worries.
