If you love modern jazz piano, then you simply cannot miss Piano Summit III: The Richness and Beauty of Modern Jazz Piano. Saturday, December 5th, the Palo Alto Jazz Alliance, Palo Alto Adult School, and KCSM FM 91.1 present an evening of enthralling music at Woodside Priory School Rothrock Performance Hall, located at 302 Portola Road in Portola Valley.
Pianists Taylor Eigsti, a Woodside Priory alumni, Susan Muscarella, Larry Vuckovich, and Denny Zeitlin will be accompanied by drummer Akira Tana and bassist Peter Barshay for an evening of unforgettable performances hosted and produced by Palo Alto Jazz Alliance (PAJA) founder Dr. Herb Wong. The musicians will not know what to expect during this performance until jazz impresario Herb Wong kicks things off at 7:30!
General admission tickets are $30, $25 for PAJA members and $10 for students.
Tickets are available at Peninsula Music & Repair in Palo Alto, The Record Man in Redwood City, Vinyl Solution in San Mateo, and Jazz Quarter in San Francisco, Groove Yard in Oakland or at the venue door on the evening of the event.
