Vibrant Downtown Campbell to host a family fun Americana event featuring, 3 stages of great music, 1 outdoor dance floors and the Bay Area's best BBQ!

CAMPBELL, CALIF. Downtown Campbell Business Association announces the 2nd annual Big Bands & BBQ Festival. The entire family can enjoy all kind or musical performances including big bands, dancing, vintage cars, gourmet food booths, BBQ demos, top BBQ grillers, carnival rides and games and all afternoon and into the evening, in the heart of Downtown Campbell.

Three stages and one outdoor dance floors featuring great dance music all day long! The event will kick off with San Jose Jazz's Youth Big Band, a perfect band for all the family to enjoy. Next up is Marcus Shelby Big Band Orchestra featuring Bay Area's premiere female vocalist Faye Carol. Latin Jazz takes over the stage with Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble of San Francisco. To close the main stage we have the biggest name in regional latin music, Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca with that big salsa sound will keep the crowds dancing into the night, plus two additional stages playing live music and outdoor dancing. Not only will there be great dance music such as swing, jazz, latin, blues, rock & roll country Americana music, we offer a unique experience and a special treat for your dancing pleasure. One specially constructed outdoor hardwood dance floors right in the middle of the street.

All great festivals offer delicious food and the Big Band and BBQ Festival will live up to this tradition. Eight of the Bay Area's best commercial grillers will converge in Downtown Campbell and cook up some world-class BBQ. Ribs, brisket, chicken and hot links will be cookin' and mainstreet will be loaded with picnic tables, chairs, umbrellas and artisan food booths.
