Panama's Benny Velarde, a
talented young percussionist, started out
with Cal Tjader's band 1950s. Tjader's band
created a surge in Latin music activity
on the West Coast. Now. Benny has played
in several big clubs in the Bay Area and
he quickly started to get lots of fans.
After 10+ years without releasing a record,
the Bay Area's own, Benny Velarde, latin
jazz percussionist, timbaledo extraordinaire,
releases a collection of Salsa hits that
will keep you dancing!
